The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers by prioritizing and scheduling domestic and international shipments. This role involves coordinating the movement of materials, parts, and supplies between departments to support efficient operations. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk also performs additional tasks as assigned to maintain workflow and meet organizational needs. The Shipping Clerk is a full time position working 8:30AM-5PM M-F. This position must be able to work out of the Naples, FL facility. This is a physical role and will require the employee to use proper lifting techniques to maintain safety.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in shipping and receiving operations.
  • Forklift operation experience is required.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and shipping platforms (e.g., UPS, FedEx, Winman).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve logistics challenges.
  • Understanding of logistics and shipping/receiving operations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate inventory management.
  • Computer literacy and experience with relevant software applications.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and other department personnel.
  • Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
  • Must be willing to attain Forklift license
  • This position requires physical demand.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, move between equipment, and aisles of product.
  • Must be able to stand and move around production facility throughout entire shift if needed.
  • Must be able to sit at a desk and conduct computer work for extended periods of time if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and label orders for shipment, including boxing, labeling, and palletizing.
  • Wrap and strap pallets to ensure secure transport.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently.
  • Move materials throughout the building as needed.
  • Organize and maintain the storage of materials in the shipping and receiving area.
  • Review and verify documentation, such as work orders and other paperwork, for accuracy.
  • Schedule shipments with freight carriers, including FedEx, UPS, and others.
  • Deliver materials to production areas when necessary.
  • Perform inventory checks of shipping supplies and maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to support efficient operations.
  • Manage return-to-stock processes accurately.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory control.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
