About The Position

Matrix designs, manufactures, and sells innovative technological products that help keep people safe. Originally focused on the underground coal mining industry, Matrix has expanded into new industrial markets in the United States and globally. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) department. This role plays a key part in supporting the department’s shipping and receiving operations, utilizing platforms such as Ariba, NetSuite, and Microsoft Office to ensure accurate and efficient processing. As part of a collaborative team environment, the Shipping and Receiving Clerk will work closely with all members of the RMA department and may occasionally interact with customers to support logistics and returns. This position works in a team environment at our home office in Newburgh, IN. This is not a remote position. This position reports to the Customer Success Manager.

Requirements

  • Ability to accurately enter data into software programs.
  • Exceptionally organized.

  • Ability to work alone as well as within a small team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

  • Moving finished goods from manufacturing and warehouse for processing
  • Delivering FedEx shipping to the warehouse
  • Building finished goods boxes for products to be shipped in
  • Scanning and attaching supporting documents to RMAs
  • Maintain shipping supplies inventory.
  • Take Warranty Claim pictures upon receipt of incoming units.
  • Utilize and maintain the receiving process in NetSuite.
  • Maintaining Joy requirements in Ariba
  • Create Repair Sheets for Techs
  • Shipping process for all outgoing packages
  • RMA Creation
  • Manage the recycling of all waste and BER materials from the repair process.
  • Create CEP (direct exchange) Sales Orders and replace the customer’s core part with a new unit during the process.
  • Customer Service
  • Other duties as assigned
