Shipping and Inventory Manager
About The Position
Positions available with High Tech growing company located in Berrien County, MI. We are a highly reputable and precision manufacturing company looking for the right individual to join our group. The Shipping and Inventory Management position is a detailed oriented position and requires very good clerical skills and light manual labor packaging parts. Looking for very motivated individuals who have a positive attitude, the ability to learn quickly, like to multitask and ability to streamline work flow. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to be part of a competitive team and build a rewarding career which offers room for growth and advancement. Successful Shipping and Inventory Manager, within our organization, complete work orders, pack parts for shipping and complete/organize product documents and shipping paperwork. Position requires individual to be highly organized, attentive to details and have strong computer and clerical skills. Individual will be responsible to count and pack product suitable for shipping via designated parcel service or freight line. Position requires individuals to organize paperwork, audit and complete work orders, print shipping documents and use computers to enter data into our ERP system. Individual must have ability to operate a Fork truck and load/unload inventory shelf and freight trucks. All successful employees in our organization work together in a team environment, learn from mistakes, and are well organized including keeping production areas clean.
Requirements
- Detailed oriented and organized.
- Excellent at paperwork and good computer skills.
- Efficient and safe forklift driver.
- Good communication/interpersonal skills
- Minimum Educational Requirement: HS or GED; Microsoft Office training a plus
- Must be self-motivated, have willingness to learn and demonstrate a strong work ethic
- Successful completion of computer and clerical tests.
- Basic packaging aptitude testing.
- Drug Testing.
- Successful completion of 3 month working probationary period.
- Above average rating on peer/management performance review after probationary period.
