About The Position

Employees in this position are responsible for processing and moving outgoing orders and for keeping the warehouse stocked.

• Must operate picking and reaching machines and maintain licenses.
• Must operate a forklift and maintain forklift license (renewal every 3 years).
• Ability to operate wrappers and UPS machine.
• Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
• Must wear all required PPE and follow safety and work rules.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders and prepare them for shipment.
• Get order from Shipping office.
• Pull orders from shelves by hand, reach machine, or picker.
• Weigh and wrap the order, and move to the staging area for shipment.
• Fill out appropriate paperwork and return to Shipping office.
• Load orders onto shipping trucks (2nd shift).
• Stock warehouse shelves.
• As packaged parts come from production floor, place them on shelves according to part/location numbers, by hand or reach machine.
• Write tickets for all items stocked and give to Materials department.
• Fill out work orders associated with stock item and give to Materials department.
• Process UPS orders.
• Get work order from Shipping office.
• Pull parts from stock (package if necessary), as per order requirements.
• Enter order information into computer.
• Place package on UPS cart for shipment.
• Clean up and other miscellaneous duties, as assigned by supervisor.
