ASSA ABLOY is looking for a Shipper to add to the team. This position will be based on-site out of our South Central regional manufacturing facility or Service Center located in Mesquite, Texas.

You’ll support our shipping, receiving, and customer order fulfillment operations…playing a critical role in delivering fast, accurate orders and the high level of service our customers expect.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Able to work overtime as required

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution, or shipping/receiving environment is a plus
• Familiarity with basic inventory control and warehouse management systems
• Experience using UPS WorldShip or other shipping software is helpful, but not required
• Comfortable using scan guns or handheld devices to manage inventory and order fulfilment.
• Basic computer literacy (ability to enter data, print labels, and navigate simple interfaces)
• Understanding of shipping documentation (packing slips, BOLs, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship outbound orders via UPS Parcel and LTL freight
• Receive, check in, and stock inventory
• Process customer will-call orders with professionalism and care
• Operate equipment including cherry picker, forklift, and reach lift
• Use scan guns and UPS WorldShip for accurate and efficient order processing
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Adapt to varying daily volumes and assist in other warehouse functions as needed
• Work occasional overtime as business needs require
• Other projects as needed
• Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment holding self and others accountable to ASSA ABLOY standards.
• Assure compliance with federal, provincial, local and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
