About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is the fulfillment of orders, including picking, packing, and metering, while maintaining order and shipping accuracy. This is a Union position that follows a Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Requirements

• Ability to take direction and complete assigned tasks
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team depending on what the task requires
• Ability to work with computers and automated systems
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Ability to stand up to 10 hours per day
• Ability to work efficiently and diligently without direct supervision
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Ability to perform quality checks as required
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Ability to recognize defects
• Ability to read small print
• Ability to distinguish color

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders efficiently and accurately
• Meter completed orders and prep outbound freight for carriers
• Accurately prepare and ship domestic, international, parcel and truck orders
• Operate manual or motorized pallet jacks to move materials
• Operate production equipment as requested
• Maintain 5S and a safe work environment
• Perform Daily Preventative Maintenance TPM as required
• Other duties as assigned
