About The Position

The Shift Supervisor oversees all operations within the Bad Boy Mowers Parts Department during the shift. This role is responsible for managing teams across receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring that daily operational goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are met. The Supervisor provides leadership, coaching, and direction to associates and Team Leads while serving as the primary point of contact for shift operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing operations; prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory management, and parts operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Proficient with warehouse management systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to become certified preferred.
  • Ability to lift regularly.
  • Stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
  • Tolerance for working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the shift in the Parts Department, including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor Team Leads and associates to meet productivity, accuracy, and quality goals.
  • Monitor workflow, assign tasks, and balance workloads across the shift to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and maintain accurate documentation, including production reports, inventory updates, and shipping records.
  • Address operational issues, resolve conflicts, and provide immediate problem-solving support on the shift.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support associate development.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors and management to plan workflow, staffing, and process improvements.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to optimize department efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary shift contact for escalations, operational decisions, and reporting to management.
