About The Position

Create and maintain Schematics / Planograms that support our AMFE strategy while providing a great shopping experience for our guests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • Experience using schematic / planogram software. (e.g., Nielsen, Blue Yonder, SymphonyAI)
  • Strong merchandising and planogram development skills preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced PC skills with proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing, and space management software.
  • Working knowledge of syndicated data and applications (e.g., Nielsen, etc.).
  • Ability to effectively respond to customer needs.
  • Effective communication skills and efficient time management.
  • Must possess and demonstrate strong analytical skills and techniques.
  • Must be tactically sound and strategic in plan development.
  • Ability to adapt to changing demands, priorities, circumstances, and directions.
  • Must be able to pass a standard drug test and qualify as being drug free under the legal and medical guidelines permitted by the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate schematics / planograms for implementation at retail.
  • Support schematic / planogram development throughout defined annual category review process including live testing of proposed schematics at our set / test stores.
  • Maintain project schedule by monitoring progress, coordinating activities, resolving problems, and making necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
  • Prioritize optimal assortment and/or shelving information to support the goals of the company.
  • Organize information by studying, analyzing, interpreting, and classifying data.
  • Work closely with Category Owner(s) to develop schematics / planograms that meet their recommended assortment and visual presentation.
  • Support key opportunities by recommending merchandising solutions based on applicable data.
  • Evaluate the reliability of source information by weighing raw data and organizing results for analysis.
  • Communicate opportunities and recommend action plans to the Manager of Shelf Management and the Director of Shelf Management.
  • Communicate the final planogram to fellow coworkers.
  • Perform any other work-related duties as assigned.
