Sheet metal workers select the gauge and type of sheet metal according to the product being fabricated and their knowledge of metals and their properties.
Requirements
- Sheet metal apprentice applicants must have a high school diploma or its equivalent, and must meet the required norms on aptitude tests.
- A commitment to acquiring industry-specific knowledge
- Displaying a positive attitude
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a Machine Operator is preferred.
- Demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Displaying basic mechanical skills
- Having good problem-solving skills
