We are seeking a Sharepoint Developer to support the Mission Technical Integration Contract (MTIC) onsite at JSC, Houston, TX. The SharePoint Developer plays a critical role by providing timely , high- quality out - of - the - box SharePoint solutions, executing with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise and responsiveness.

Requirements

  • 3+ Years of Experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development, and delivery of SharePoint Sites
  • Client-facing communication skills with the ability to present business cases, strategies, and solutions in a team environment
  • Experience translating functional requirements to system requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong commitment to internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, problem solving, and brainstorming skills
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation

  • Work may involve sitting for extended periods
  • May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs
  • Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary

  • Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.)
  • Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical
  • Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required
  • Must be able to work in a team atmosphere
  • Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation
  • Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others
  • This position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SharePoint Online, Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI), and Microsoft Project
  • Experience using JIRA to track and monitor planned work
  • Experience working within software development teams using agile or other structured SDLC methodologies
  • Working knowledge of the software development life cycle
  • Experience should include developing and following I.T. procedures and/or work instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with site and content owners for site creation, development, sustainment
  • Ensuring compliance with SharePoint governance policies
  • Configure and manages access to SharePoint sites, conforming to business requirements and processes
  • Meet with customers to develop tools and solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Plan and provide support for SharePoint migrations and upgrades
  • Troubleshoot SharePoint site and access issues and assisting with resolution
  • Provide SharePoint training and develops documentation and reference guides
  • Attend SharePoint Community of Practices meetings and advocates on behalf of the programs supported
