About The Position

Leidos has a current job opportunity for a SharePoint Developer at Chambersburg, PA. JOB SUMMARY: This position will support the DISA DECO Task Order 09 Network Assurance Program developing custom Microsoft SharePoint, SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and Power Suite solutions for the DISA Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) program. This candidate will be expected to manage complex projects spanning multiple technical areas and regularly employ ingenuity and creativity to develop new and bespoke software solutions for the program. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with both internal team members, cross-functional peers across the DECO organization, and government customer leadership as required. Must be familiar with the Agile Scrum Development framework to include knowledge of Scrum roles, time-boxes, ceremonies, and artifacts. Expertise in one or more programming language is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 8+ years of professional experience; additional or equivalent experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Must possesses expert level knowledge of and ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts with regards to software development in the Microsoft environment.
  • Mastery of SharePoint Framework (SPFx), C#, Java, and JavaScript.
  • Extensive experience developing and maintaining software at the enterprise level.
  • Motivated self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have and maintain an active US Department of War (DoW) Top Secret security clearance or be able to obtain one prior to starting the program.
  • Must have an active DoD-8140 / DoW-8140 IAT Level 1 baseline certification (Security+ CE) at start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate (MS-600) or higher certification.
  • Extensive experience working within the Azure for US Government Cloud environment.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the DoW organizational structure and layout.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a SharePoint site with numerous custom forms, lists, libraries, and reports.
  • Develop modular SharePoint Framework (SPFx) software solutions for enterprise deployment.
  • Create, test, and maintain Microsoft Power Automate and Logic Apps workflows to interface with multiple data repositories.
  • Design software solutions in Java, JavaScript, C#, and the Microsoft Power Apps suite of tools.
  • Conduct rigorous and methodical testing of software in Dev and Staging environments prior to deployment to production.
  • Create detailed software testing scripts to support.
  • Meet routinely with customer operations team members to facilitate continuous integration of newly developed solutions and gather and refine functional requirements.
  • Rapidly respond to and resolve any operations and maintenance (O&M) issues as they arise in the production environment.
  • Integrate with enterprise change control board (CCB) processes and maintain a thorough understanding of the Azure for US Government Cloud development environment and restrictions.
  • Develop SOPs and TTPs to allow for better, more consistent processes.
