As a SharePoint Developer, you will be trusted to contribute to requirements gathering, requirements definition, design, development, testing, deployment, and post deployment support that ensure enhanced end-user experience. In this role, a typical day will include: Designs and defines system design documentation for new or existing SharePoint sites Analyzes functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities Develop, test, and debug new software or enhancements to existing software Develop SharePoint sites using templates and custom solutions Build custom SharePoint forms, views and modern UI components and experiences Performs maintenance on existing software products and contributes knowledge of business applications Administer secure, scalable permission models using SharePoint Groups and role-based access control to enforce least-privilege access. Administer site-level and item-level permissions, including inheritance, unique permissions, and permission auditing. Manage data classification, sensitivity labels, and compliance rules within SharePoint to protect PII, PHI, and other regulated content. Experience in Power Automate flows and Power BI Works with the technical staff to understand problems with software and then resolve them Develops block diagrams and logic flow charts; prepares required documentation Configures SharePoint services and settings Collaborate with technical team to ensure system availability Works with Product owners to guides users in formulating requirements and advises alternative approaches Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans Responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility Participating as a member of a Scrum team Providing additional support and guidance to clients during the implementation phase, to include development of training resources Researching, reviewing, and analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements gathering processes and developing strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Communications, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience SharePoint development
  • 3+ years of experience SharePoint administration
  • 3+ years of experience developing Microsoft365 solutions
  • Experience working in a Scrum or SAFe Agile environment
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance and must have resided in the US the last 3 of 5 years

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare Service or Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) agency experience
  • Certified SAFe Agilist, SAFe Practitioner or Scrum Master
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices and an understanding of industry trends and difficulties
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to integrate information from multiple sources
  • Ability to work independently and interact regularly with government and non-government stakeholders at multiple levels of authority
  • Works well as a team member in a fast-paced and often time-sensitive environment

Responsibilities
