About The Position

The Shareholder Services Manager leads the development, coordination, and delivery of programs and services that support shareholder engagement, communication, and overall well-being. This role ensures accurate shareholder records management, effective outreach, and meaningful opportunities for shareholder participation. The Manager also serves as a liaison between the Corporation and the Native Village of Tatitlek, supporting collaboration under the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and helping advance shared community priorities.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience working within the Chugach Region. Significant understanding of the history and protocols, as well as social and economic initiatives, of the village of Tatitlek and other Chugach Region Tribes is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience.
  • Excellent customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of the principles, theories, and practices of business administration including: accounting, human and material resource management, sales and marketing, economics, information and organizing systems.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize work, make sound decisions, problem solve, exercise good judgment and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to research, analyze and develop goals, work plans and policies and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze, prepare and reconcile budgets and expenditures.
  • Must be able to assume responsibility and meet deadlines.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically, both verbally and in writing, with co-workers and with outside agencies, partners, shareholders and business associates.
  • Ability to analyze, document and administer land leases, permits and contracts.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products with strong Excel spreadsheet skills.
  • Experience with database management.
  • Candidate must be a TTC Shareholder or a Lineal Descendant.
  • Possess valid US driver’s license and insurance.
  • As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of shareholder services programs and staff.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase shareholder engagement and participation.
  • Manage shareholder communications including newsletters, announcements, and outreach.
  • Coordinate shareholder events, meetings, and cultural activities.
  • Promote strong, ongoing relationships with shareholders across all generations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date shareholder records, including contact information, enrollment status, and eligibility data.
  • Oversee data entry, verification, and routine audits to ensure data integrity and completeness.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of shareholder information in compliance with corporate policies and applicable laws.
  • Manage shareholder database systems, including coordination with IT for system updates and issue resolution.
  • Develop and implement standardized procedures for records management, retention, and document control.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate updates to shareholder information.
  • Prepare reports, lists, and data requests to support leadership, audits, and program needs.
  • Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping for shareholder programs, distributions, and services.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate shareholder programs and services.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and applicable regulations.
  • Prepare reports, updates, and presentations for leadership.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for shareholder inquiries and concerns.
  • Provide responsive, respectful, and solutions-oriented support.
  • Foster trust, transparency, and positive engagement with shareholders.Community Engagement & Tribal Coordination (MOA Support).
  • Serve as a liaison supporting the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Native Village of Tatitlek.
  • Maintain awareness of tribal governance, priorities, and community issues.
  • Support coordination and implementation of village projects and joint initiatives.
  • Assist with project management including planning, tracking progress, and reporting outcomes.
  • Contribute to budgeting efforts, funding awareness, and resource alignment for community initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and tribal partners to ensure culturally grounded and effective engagement.
  • Supervise and support Shareholder Services staff.
  • Develop work plans, set priorities, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Manage departmental budget and resources.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
