We are currently seeking a Sexual Assault (SART) Advocate. General Responsibilities: Under the direct supervision of the SART Manager, the SA Advocate for the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) will respond to SART calls, in the agency’s service area, to serve survivors of sexual assault and human sexual trafficking. The SA advocate will answer the crisis hotline regularly and work two evening shifts per week. General Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred with one year's experience working with survivors of sexual assault. One-year experience in a non-profit setting. Knowledge of issues surrounding survivors of sexual assault, basic de-escalation skills and the ability to work independently, manage time and tasks effectively. Knowledge of violence toward women and children’s issues. Bilingual/ Fluent Spanish a big plus. Completion of agency provided 70-hour DV/SA training within 6 months of employment.
