About The Position

The Sewing Operator - Double Needle position is located in Claremont , NC. You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will.... Read and understand production tickets and be able to interpret simple sewing instructions commonly placed in a sewing manual. Sew flat in upholstery. Ability to double needle sew, top stitch, and serge, cushion, flat, slipcover, borders, and zippers. Making sure the sewing is straight and in alignment with cover pattern with no dropped stitches.

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of experience in fabric sewing for upper end upholstered furniture.
• Experience in production of upper-end upholstery fabric sewing in an upholstered furniture manufacturing environment.
• Work in a manufacturing and fast-paced environment.
• This is an onsite and in office role.
• Ability to lift, pull, and manipulate heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Good communication skills-oral and written.
• Ability to keep accurate records.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and standards.
