About The Position

Description OverviewReporting to the shift supervisor, this position serves as an equipment change-over technician. While following SOPs and cGMPs, the set-up tech carries out product, size, and machine tooling changes to accommodate components. Adjusts machinery and equipment to ensure efficient operation and resolve problems during the product run. The incumbent will participate in developing and monitoring procedures to improve line uptime and efficiencies. The incumbent will also use manuals, job aids or guidelines to complete preventive maintenance and minor repairs to packaging equipment. This position will ensure completion of line and/or department preventative maintenance as required. The employee will also assist with packaging validations (PVS/PQ/PKV), component line trials and special projects. At times this position requires working closely with the department Engineers and Line Leads for line and/or equipment improvements. Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and ascent ladders and use tools as needed.
• Must be able to stand on concrete floors for extended periods of time.
• Protective Equipment Requirement: Must be able to wear negative and/or positive pressure respirators daily for long periods of time.
• Must be medically cleared to wear respirators without restrictions.
• Must be clean shaven to seal area of the tight fitting respirator.
