Involvement in day-to-day operation of the automotive fabrication process. While individuals will be assigned primarily to servicer duties, they are in no way limited to that area. Cross training on other equipment will be required in this position.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Minimize machine downtime through proper loading/unloading techniques.
  • Knowledge of CMS in areas of properly reporting production and scrap.
  • Utilize proper handling techniques to minimize product damage.
  • Attend all safety training and meetings.
  • Maximize use of foam to obtain optimum yield.
  • Notify supervisor or manager of any safety or quality issues.
  • Maintain a safe work environment at all times.
  • Visually inspect chops for quality issues/physical damage prior to processing.
  • Rolling buns and staging them as required.
  • Keep the area neat, organized and clean as well as follow 5S principles, as they are appropriate.
  • Cross train in other positions as required.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed by the employee’s supervisor.
