Granite State Credit Union is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join the Loan Servicing Team. Our Servicing Team is a highly collaborative group that works hard to provide our members and staff with top-notch service. Requirements

  • Experience with or desire to learn consumer and mortgage lending regulations and required disclosures
  • Pride in producing quality work, keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; must be adaptable to change
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word/Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A wide skill set – The ability to work with the latest technology. The aptitude to keep pace with industry changes is a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of NH State Titles is preferred but not required
  • Experience in a financial institution is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Process Mortgage and Consumer loan payoffs
  • Process discharges and title/lien releases
  • Process daily loan disbursals and index documents in electronic filing storage
  • Review vehicle titles and UCC filings for accuracy
  • Assist with insurance monitoring and claims
  • Work on third party audits on selected files for accuracy
  • Assist with year-end tasks such as escrow analysis and 1098 reporting
  • Conduct loan quality control, track and assist with error resolution as needed
  • Manage ongoing tracking and payment of property tax and homeowners insurance
  • Update daily mortgage and equity rates
  • Ensure regulatory compliance surrounding member notifications and mortgage loan maintenance
  • Answer inquiries to the servicing phone queue and email inbox
  • Compile documents needed for loans sold to our investors
  • Assist with a variety of projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
