Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field Or Master’s degree plus 3 years of related experience
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance required at time of hire
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – required
  • 5+ years of ServiceNow platform administration experience
  • 5+ years of job-related IT systems experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting air-gapped or classified environments strongly preferred
  • Agile environment experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage platform upgrades, patch deployments, and releases in accordance with strict change control procedures
  • Configure and maintain system properties, email services, integrations, scheduled jobs, and platform security settings
  • Implement and enforce role-based access controls (RBAC), user provisioning, and authentication mechanisms aligned with security policies
  • Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability metrics; proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks
  • Maintain compliance with federal security standards (NIST, FedRAMP, DoD frameworks as applicable)
  • Develop and maintain platform documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Lead incident response for platform-level issues and participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes
  • Provide technical guidance and training to administrators and end users
