About The Position

VTG is seeking a talented and experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or additional years of specialized experience in a scientific or technical discipline.
• 2+ years experience developing forms, workflows, business logic, UI policies, and APIs in ServiceNow
• 2+ years experience using JavaScript and scripting in ServiceNow
• Ability to work on a larger team and under a technical team lead to meet high priority roadmap milestones
• Ability to work closely with a team of functional requirements analysts to clarify requirements, unit test, and demo work

Nice To Haves

• Experience with data migration, creating transform maps, and SQL

Responsibilities

• Review code work for accuracy and functionality
• Develop ServiceNow tables, record producers, and workflows
• Design and develop Service Portal widgets
• Support data migration efforts using data sources, transform maps, and SQL
• Integration support using REST, SOAP, and/or ServiceNow APIs
• Create and implement design plans
• Analyze code segments regularly
• Keep up to date with industry trends and technology developments
• Flag risks as they arise and brief Senior Leadership with a mitigation strategy for addressing in the needed timeframe
• Facilitate code migrations and releases
• Own and be accountable for flagging stories/features to Tech Lead and Managers
• Unit test stories
• Provide transparent and frequent communication
