About The Position

Quarterhill is seeking a ServiceNow Architect to lead the design, governance, and evolution of our ServiceNow platform across the enterprise. This role is responsible for defining platform architecture, ensuring scalable and secure implementations, and aligning ServiceNow capabilities to business strategy. The ideal candidate is both technically authoritative and strategically minded, capable of guiding platform decisions, influencing stakeholders, and enforcing best practices while enabling rapid business value.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of ServiceNow experience with architectural ownership.
  • Proven experience designing enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.
  • Strong integration experience (APIs, MID Servers, third-party systems).
  • Experience leading platform governance and enforcing standards.
  • Ability to influence and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA)
  • Experience with multi-instance or global deployments
  • ITIL v4 certification
  • Experience in regulated or high-availability environments
  • Background in enterprise architecture or platform transformation initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end ServiceNow architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Define and maintain platform standards, design patterns, and architectural guardrails.
  • Lead roadmap planning for new modules, integrations, and platform enhancements.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Establish and enforce development, configuration, and integration standards.
  • Review and approve solution designs to prevent platform sprawl and technical debt.
  • Define upgrade, patching, and lifecycle management strategies.
  • Act as the final technical authority for platform decisions.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
  • Advise executives and senior leaders on platform capabilities and tradeoffs.
  • Mentor administrators, developers, and product owners.
  • Act as a trusted advisor during audits, incidents, and major initiatives.
