About The Position

iTech AG is seeking a ServiceNow Application Developer specializing in integrations to support the design, development, and implementation of system integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise platforms in support of Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and IT Operations Management (ITOM) Visibility. This role is responsible for enabling secure, reliable, and scalable data exchange that ensures ServiceNow operates as the authoritative system of record for IT assets and configuration data. Working under the direction of the ServiceNow Technical Architect and Project Manager, the Integration Developer will design and implement integrations with discovery tools, inventory systems, and other authoritative data sources, while adhering to Department of Energy (DOE) and Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS) security, quality assurance, and configuration management requirements.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of overall application development experience, with 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
  • Demonstrated experience building and supporting ServiceNow integrations in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong proficiency with: JavaScript (ServiceNow scripting) REST and SOAP APIs IntegrationHub and Flow Designer MID Server configuration and troubleshooting Import Sets and Transform Maps
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with CMDB, SAM, HAM, and ITOM data sources.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in regulated or government environments (DOE, federal, or equivalent) preferred.
  • ServiceNow CIS-HAM or CIS-SAM

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow integrations using IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, JDBC, MID Server, and file-based data exchanges.
  • Implement and support integrations with discovery and inventory systems (e.g., SCCM, ServiceNow Discovery, cloud platforms, and legacy data sources).
  • Develop and maintain Import Sets and Transform Maps to ensure accurate, normalized, and reconciled data ingestion.
  • Configure and customize business rules, scripts, and integration logic to support SAM, HAM, ITOM, and CMDB data flows.
  • Ensure integrations align with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and support CMDB data quality, relationship mapping, and reconciliation.
  • Implement error handling, logging, monitoring, and retry mechanisms to ensure integration reliability and traceability.
  • Support data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance processes related to integrated data.
  • Participate in functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), including defect resolution and performance tuning.
  • Develop and maintain technical integration documentation, including data mappings, interface control documents (ICDs), and operational runbooks.
  • Support deployment, cutover, and post-go-live integration stabilization, including troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure integrations comply with DOE cybersecurity and data protection requirements.
