About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Administrator to oversee the design, development, and ongoing evolution of the ServiceNow platform within our organization. This role is responsible for partnering closely with business and IT stakeholders, translating requirements into scalable solutions, and ensuring the platform delivers measurable business value. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a platform-as-a-product mindset. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, integrations, and automation. • Architect, develop, and maintain the ServiceNow platform in alignment with enterprise standards and best practices. • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand needs, gather requirements, and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions. • Interface directly with customers and end users to facilitate meetings, workshops, and working sessions. • Lead requirements-gathering efforts, ensuring business and technical requirements are clearly documented, validated, and understood. • Create and maintain meeting artifacts including agendas, meeting minutes, action items, and follow-ups to ensure alignment and accountability. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to ServiceNow developers and administrators. • Establish and enforce governance, standards, and best practices for ServiceNow development and implementation. • Oversee and participate in ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and ongoing system maintenance. • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications and enterprise systems using APIs and other integration methods. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to ServiceNow functionality, performance, and integrations. • Promote platform capabilities that solve real business problems and reduce reliance on third-party vendors. • Continuously improve processes, workflows, and overall platform performance. • Stay current with ServiceNow releases and emerging capabilities, evaluating opportunities for adoption

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience working with the ServiceNow platform.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, core modules, and development frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript, AngularJS, etc.).
  • Experience with ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or other ServiceNow modules.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to interface with customers and end users, facilitating meetings, workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions.
  • Experience documenting requirements, meeting minutes, and action items to drive clarity, alignment, and execution.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
  • Advanced ServiceNow development skills, including custom workflows, scripting, and integrations.
  • Ability to self-manage initiatives and project lifecycles in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow best practices and real-world enterprise platform governance.
  • Strong communication, documentation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting or leading ServiceNow implementations in a large enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow AI/ML capabilities, Virtual Agent, and automation features.
  • Experience with governance frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, or ISO 27001.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working cross-functionally.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required; additional certifications (CIS, CAD, etc.) preferred.
