About The Position

Leidos has an excellent opportunity for a ServiceNow Administrator - Senior supporting the Enterprise Level Information Technology Expertise (ELITE) contract at the United States Africa Command (USAFRICOM) located in Stuttgart, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS. PROGRAM SUMMARY: Are you interested in continuing your career in Europe in a mission focused environment? Leidos has established positions throughout Europe supporting the ELITE program. We are looking for an experienced, innovative and motivated ServiceNow Administrator to support the enablement of USAFRICOM’s mission objectives.

Requirements

  • Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Extensive experience administering and developing within ServiceNow in a federal or DoD enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes and hands‑on expertise with core ServiceNow modules and integrations.
  • Experience with ServiceNow cloud environment and common configurations within
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in a team environment
  • BA/BS & 5+ years recent specialized experience or AS with 7 years of recent specialized experience
  • TESA Eligibility
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Active DoD Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) certification or higher (e.g., CIS‑ITSM, CAD).
  • Experience with ITOM, Discovery, CMDB modeling, or integration technologies (REST, SOAP, MID Server).
  • Experience with the full suite of the Strategic Portfolio Management module and best practices within.
  • Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity frameworks, RMF, STIGs, or secure development practices.
  • Experience with migrations from on-premises to cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the administration, enhancement, and sustainment of the ServiceNow platform supporting the ACJ6 mission.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day O&M operations, ensuring platform reliability, security compliance, and continuous availability.
  • Drive development efforts across multiple ServiceNow modules, delivering new capabilities, integrations, and workflow automations.
  • Serve as a senior technical advisor to government stakeholders, translating mission needs into scalable platform solutions.
  • Guide configuration management, documentation, and governance practices to maintain a secure and auditable environment.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and coordinate with onsite SME teams to ensure rapid resolution.
  • Contribute to long‑term modernization strategies, platform roadmaps, and enterprise architecture alignment.
  • Perform advanced administration, configuration, and maintenance of ServiceNow environments, including upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
  • Develop custom applications, flows, business rules, client scripts, and integrations using approved DoD frameworks and security standards.
  • Manage platform security, including ACLs, roles, data policies, and compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.
  • Maintain and optimize ITSM, CMDB, Change Management, SPM, and Service Catalog modules to support mission operations.
  • Lead testing, validation, and deployment activities for new releases and enhancements.
  • Provide expert guidance to junior administrators and support teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and DoD policies.
  • Interface with government customers to gather requirements, propose solutions, and deliver technical briefings.
