We are a rapidly expanding Building Material Distributor with showrooms and full-service distribution locations in Raleigh, Fayetteville and Sanford, North Carolina. The Service & Warranty Coordinator manages incoming warranty requests and provides administrative support during the service calls. This includes ordering parts, coordinating scheduling, and acting as the liaison to the homeowner and sales team until requested service/warranty is completed and accepted.

Requirements

  • Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, and coordinate work activities.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to solve problems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50–100 pounds frequently.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, climb ladders, kneel, crouch, and use hands/tools.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces or at heights as needed.
  • Visual acuity and manual dexterity required for precision work and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule service calls with homeowners, coordinate with warranty reps and other trades utilizing provided tools and documents.
  • Utilize systems and scheduling platform to create work orders, manage all scheduling and data input to ensure proper tracking of the work order status.
  • Create and distribute work orders daily to Field Service Technicians.
  • Accurately identify and perform entry of customer service tickets and material needs.
  • Communicate and interact with supervisors as needed, as well as sales teams, homeowners, and builder warranty reps.
  • Prepare billing and invoice customer.
  • Prepare and submit documentation to vendors for back charges.
