The Service Valet is responsible for moving service guest vehicles to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility, to increase guest convenience, and to maintain an orderly service parking area. Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent desired.
  • A minimum of six (6) months customer service experience, desired.
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission, coordinate activities with other employees; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; work well with the public.
  • Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Do the right thing!
  • Provides great guest experience by welcoming all Service guests to ensure their check-in process is simple, easy providing answers to any facility questions.
  • Work alongside Service Consultants to ensure all guest's questions are documented and get addressed during the guest's visit.
  • Installs and removes disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and ID tags in all the vehicles brought in for service.
  • Retrieves guest vehicles from the parking lot.
  • Delivers and picks up guests, as needed.
  • Inspects each vehicle for lot damage that may have occurred during the vehicle’s stay in the service department.
  • May record any external vehicle damage (scratches, dents) and vehicle information on check-in sheet and submits to designated personnel.
  • Follows up with appropriate personnel to ensure guest concerns were resolved.
  • Helps maintain a professional appearance of the sales, service department, and courtesy van.
  • Secures the courtesy van on premises, usually inside the shop at the end of the day.
  • Assists with large events, including preparation, organizing, setting up. Offsite events and dealership location.
  • Assists in all areas of the dealership as needed.
  • Maintains assigned workplace in an organized and clean manner.
  • Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.
  • Maintains professional appearance at all times.
