About The Position

Due to tremendous growth, RONDO is looking to add a Field Service Technician to the US-based team. RONDO is a world-leading supplier of dough sheeting and shaping machinery solutions to the bakery industry for 70+ years; from small artisanal to large industrial. Headquartered in Switzerland, with additional factories in Italy and France, equipment is sold and serviced to North America customers through RONDO Inc. located in Moonachie, NJ.

Requirements

A good understanding of industrial type equipment
A good understanding of electrical and electrical controls
A good understanding of electrical schematics
A good understanding of mechanical function and repair
Field service experience
Good customer and reporting skills

Responsibilities

Field Service, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical industrial equipment issues, repair and install all equipment sold by Rondo at customer’s site.
Provide electrical and mechanical technical help via phone and e-mail. Help within the Parts Department.
Travel when requested, via air travel and locally via auto. Approximately 50% local or overnight travel within the USA.
Company van is provided.
Electrical troubleshoot and repair all equipment sold by RONDO
Mechanicals troubleshoot and repair all equipment sold by RONDO
To provide all technical service and support in a timely manner and in accordance with established company protocols.
Sell Preventive Maintenance Contracts
Sell Recommended Spare Parts
Install all equipment sold by RONDO
Commission / Demo all RONDO equipment
Proper paperwork must be filled out and completed prior to leaving the jobsite.

Parts processing when available
