About The Position

The Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing low-voltage electrical components in portable cleaning equipment and pressure pumps, such as pressure washers and truck-mounted small engine-powered cleaning units. Applicants should have general mechanical knowledge and the ability to read wiring diagrams. Applicants must be able to work safely and productively within a warehouse environment.

Requirements

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• General knowledge of hand and power tools, tools are company provided
• Able to read and comprehend manuals, procedures, and other written documents
• A basic mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check

Nice To Haves

• Experience with small engine repair is a plus, but not required
• Experience with HVAC repair is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Regularly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment
• Replace electrical or mechanical components or parts, using hand and/or power tools
• Operates machines to test the functioning of parts or mechanisms
• Removes and disassembles equipment to inspect parts and functionality
• Utilizes database to identify stock of replacement parts
• Creates order of work outlining parts required, a timeline of repair, and estimated cost
