About The Position

As the premium provider of drinking water and water treatment services for the greater part of a century, Hall’s Culligan continues to innovate and expand our business nationwide by offering tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of each customer backed by our superior Culligan service. This position is responsible for all aspects of service, installation, and repair of Company commercial equipment and products, in accordance with applicable codes and company policies. A Service Technician must be able to communicate clearly with customers to ensure they are meeting the customer’s needs while representing the company in a professional, positive, helpful and dependable manner so that the customer’s experience is exceptional.

Requirements

Must maintain a valid Driver’s License
Must be at least 18 years of age or older, and be able to successfully pass, and maintain, an acceptable driving record check to be insurable by the Company in order to operate a company vehicle
Must be able to safely operate a commercial vehicle on a daily basis for approximately 8-10 hour
Mechanical/technical skills; plumbing and electrical experience highly desired
1-2 years' experience as a field service technician or machine maintenance/repair
Self-motivated and the ability to work independently
Team player with exceptional customer service skills
Must remain physically capable, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform the duties required of this position.
Must be able to lift/ push/ pull 75 lbs. unassisted
Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check, as well as any ongoing screenings required of this position.

Coffee machine repair and refurbishment skills preferred

Responsibilities

Installation, service and repair of beverage (water coolers, coffee and tea) equipment
Preventive maintenance of brewing machines and other equipment
Internal and external Customer Service
Maintaining a clean and organized service area
Follows standard operating and safety procedures
Complete installation and repair/service of company equipment in commercial venues following Company Standard Operating Procedures when applicable.
Provide timely and effective resolution of service issues relating to all customers, including but not limited to, equipment repair, installations, and others as assigned.
Ensure truck is loaded with all tools and equipment necessary to complete all appointments for the day
Accurate completion of all required paperwork and any installation/service work orders into your hand-held device.
Complete “on call” service needs on holidays and weekends as required
Conduct self in a positive and cooperative manner, and communicate in an open and positive way with both customers and coworkers
Other duties as assigned
