Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years' experience in equipment service or maintenance, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Mechanically inclined and oriented with troubleshooting skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Exhibits a willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays
  • Demonstrates a professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Works independently with limited supervision
  • Travel may be required

Responsibilities

  • The Service Technician Lead oversees and leads a team of service technicians engaged in scheduled preventive repairs, with specialized knowledge of maintenance on amusement equipment across Theme Parks, Malls, and various Venues.
  • The Service Technician Lead will leverage extensive experience in equipment maintenance and service, demonstrating mechanical aptitude, and managing outdoor operations in diverse weather conditions.
  • Performs maintenance and preventive services for our mobility, locker, amusement, and other allied equipment.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Service Technicians.
  • Oversee cash collection and deposits, ensuring adherence to financial protocols and reporting any discrepancies to higher management.
  • Manage and maintain comprehensive documentation, including maintenance inspection records, to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficient record-keeping.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts and collaborate with clients to address equipment issues, providing expert recommendations and maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Coordinate and oversee part orders as needed, ensuring adequate preparation of equipment, tools, and materials for service work.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting manuals and technical documentation, facilitating effective problem-solving and decision-making within the team.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring team members’ adherence to established standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
