About The Position

The Pool Service Technician I is an entry-level field role responsible for performing routine pool maintenance, assisting with repairs, and supporting daily service operations. This position plays a key role in completing pool openings, closings, cleanings, and basic equipment service for residential customers. This is a hands-on, outdoor role ideal for mechanically inclined individuals looking to build technical skills in the pool service industry.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Previous pool service or construction experience
  • Basic understanding of water chemistry
  • Experience using power tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Customer service experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine pool maintenance including: Vacuuming, brushing, skimming, and basket cleaning
  • Pool openings and closings
  • Filter cleaning and basic equipment checks
  • Test and adjust water chemistry to maintain proper balance
  • Assist with basic equipment repairs (pumps, filters, heaters, plumbing)
  • Identify and report leaks or equipment issues requiring advanced repair
  • Operate service vehicles safely and maintain organized equipment
  • Complete service tickets accurately and in a timely manner
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding service performed
  • Follow all safety protocols and chemical handling procedures
