Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in supervisory role.
  • 3-5 years of submersible pump experience required.
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office, standard asset systems/software.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s/technical degree preferred.
  • Waste Water System experience and pump experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure team members adhere to all Xylem Safety training and protocols and have the necessary PPE.
  • Promote a safety-focused culture with regular safety talks.
  • Hire, develop, support, supervise, and coach direct reports.
  • Execute the established training program for shop service personnel.
  • Ensure staff adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations (e.g., DOT).
  • Understand the contract and project scope.
  • Work with project sales and operations to ensure positive scope delivery.
  • Schedule and manage field staff in executing project scope.
  • Provide input during the proposal phase of projects.
  • Keep internal stakeholders informed of shop repair activities and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure the Area Manager is informed of repair updates, safety, production reports, and project issues.
  • Responsible for effective quality assurance and quality control on all service repairs.
  • Analyze data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
  • Support and help drive corporate initiatives (Watermark, Concern reporting, point kaizens).
