About The Position

HERE, TAKING CARE OF CUSTOMERS IS ABOUT MUCH MORE THAN MONEY At Taylor Bank, everything we do is about serving our community and building strong customer relationships. WE ARE SEEKING: A full-time Service Specialist with great people skills to service customers in our Cape Charles, Virginia branch location. You will also be required to float to our Onley, Virginia Branch on a regular basis, as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Prior banking experience a plus
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
  • Strong communication skills
  • A professional appearance

Responsibilities

  • Processing Customer deposits and withdrawals
  • Account maintenance, such as address changes
  • Issuing debit cards
  • Responding to routine account inquiries
  • Assisting customers with digital banking navigation
  • Explaining products and services and making appropriate referrals
  • Supporting day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
  • Additional tasks as assigned
