About The Position

The Service Shop Foreman is responsible for directing the day-to-day operation of a service shop with a diverse product line. This role involves coordinating vehicle repairs with the Service Manager and Service Advisors, meeting time schedules, and maintaining technician productivity levels. The foreman must uphold quality standards, ensure a safe and clean working environment, and foster a professional atmosphere. Additionally, the position requires evaluating job estimates for profitability, reviewing repair orders for accuracy, and adhering to company policies regarding safety, quality, professionalism, confidentiality, teamwork, attendance, and EEO/Affirmative Action commitments.

Requirements

• Must have High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years' related experience and/or training
• Prior supervisory and/or management experience

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all estimates for jobs to maintain profitability
• Reviews repair orders for accuracy
• Maintains a safe working environment
• Maintains a clean working environment
• Work closely with Service Manager and Service Advisors
• Supervise technicians in the repair of customer vehicles
• Supervise work flow in shop to maintain efficiency
• Supervise maintenance of shop equipment and tooling
• Supervise technicians in maintaining current training and certifications
