Job Title Service Sales Specialist Location(s) Shelton Job Description Job Responsibilities: Meet and exceed sales targets and other KPIs including renewal rates, new unit additions, and warranty conversions Manage a geographic territory and work with the local CSEs team to expand the contract base by adding new contracts Quote customers directly through CRM system Work closely with leadership to develop growth strategies for assigned territory Contact customers to follow up on leads generated through CSEs and other teams Identify and generate lead opportunities for other PerkinElmer businesses Respond to customer inquiries, act as their point of contact, and ensure timely resolution Develop product knowledge to effectively grow portfolio within territory Follow company best practices and processes and learn effective selling techniques Maintain sales pipeline and activity accurately in CRM tools Upsell / Cross-sell other PerkinElmer services and consumables offerings Embrace change and continuous improvement mindset Maintain training and compliance in areas of health and safety, security, environmental and operational aspects of daily activities in the working environment Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities of this job at any time

Requirements

  • 1+ years of inside sales or field service experience
  • Effective time management and organization
  • Strong communication skills (telephone & email)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or similar scientific field
  • Relevant experience in the analytical instruments & consumables industry
  • Relevant experience in laboratory or field service operations

Responsibilities
