About The Position

LabCorp is seeking a Courier to join our team at 605 E Huntington Monrovia, CA91016. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 3:30 pm- 129:00 am, additional hours may be required LabCorp company is seeking a Courier to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports, while providing excellent service to our clients. Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and good driving record
• Be at least 21 years old
• Punctual with strong time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to problem solve customer issues
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

• 6 months or more experience as driver or medical courier
• 6 months or more experiences Customer service

Responsibilities

• Act as a floater for the logistics team providing as needed coverage for various routes in Riverside, Perris, Menifee, Temecula, Wildomar, Lake Elsinore, Corona
• Provide on-route training for new couriers/drivers
• Assist with dispatch and pickups when needed
• Load all necessary suppliers needed for the daily pickups
• Complete daily pick-up schedule in a timely manner
• Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift
• Handle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient manner
• Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
• Utilize handheld electronic devices to manage daily picks up
• Work directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed
