Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in service parts engineering or related automotive fields.
  • Basic understanding of Low and High Voltage vehicle charging applications.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
  • Ability to work efficiently under stress/pressure.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for 8-10 hours per day.
  • Required to communicate using phone and/or e-mail.
  • Ability to view, read, and interpret documents.
  • Ability to perform all duties in an office environment that may contain ambient noise and temperature fluctuations.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Enovia and Catia V6 is a plus.
  • Automotive or related OEM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Service Engineers to develop and implement service parts strategies for on and off vehicle Charging systems across all vehicle models and off-vehicle charging products.
  • Work with Service Engineers to develop and implement service parts strategies for Rivian Fasteners and for Rivian Van aftermarket upfit programs.
  • Manage the complete service parts lifecycle, including part release, change management, and maintenance.
  • Ensure accurate and complete Service Bill of Materials (SBOM) through regular reviews and audits.
  • Resolve complex technical issues related to service parts, including engineering deviations, part release problems, and customer inquiries.
  • Provide expert technical support (SME) to cross-functional teams, including service engineering, field service, and downstream operations (catalog, new part introduction, demand planning).
  • Support field service actions related to safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Investigate and resolve interchangeability of existing service parts concurrent with the release of new service parts.
