About The Position

EMCOR Government Services is seeking a talented Service Order Manager for a bid proposal for the Operations and Maintenance Services for Medical Treatment Facilities near El Paso, TX. The Service Order Manager shall have overall responsibility for developing and executing repair projects. #EGS #LI-NS1 This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

• Must be technically qualified in the field of Healthcare, Facilities Management and Construction
• Must have experience in health care construction, renovation and maintenance and repair project management in a hospital environment.
• Must be familiar with the various codes and standards applicable to the O&M tasks covered by the performance work statement, NFPA, EPA and OSHA codes and standards and TJC for hospital accreditations.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Must posses advanced knowledge and understanding of all aspects of medical facility repair, construction, and facilities management to include the following disciplines: Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, communication and security systems
• Must have experience with DoD MTF design standards, bid preparation, bid evaluation and selection, award, inspection, acceptance and project close-out.

Nice To Haves

• An ASHE Certified Health Care Facility Manager (CHFM), a Project Management Professional (PMP) or ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing the Service Order program
• Assisting in the development of scopes of work (SOW's)
• Assessing engineering/technical requirements
• Developing cost proposals and soliciting proposals from subcontractors.
• Initiating project work, inspecting work, ensuring work is completed in accordance with the SOW and that all work is completed with quality and in a workmanlike manner.
