About The Position

The Great Lakes Loons are seeking candidates to join our kitchen staff as a Dishwasher! Candidates will gain experience in a highly energized kitchen atmosphere. Dishwashers are responsible for carrying out duties such as maintaining dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen utensils, work areas, and equipment in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum 1 year of proven employment.
• Prior knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Clears and rinses food from dirty dishes, pans, and utensils and washes them in a dishwashing machine or by hand, depending on the assigned equipment, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels of the dishwashing equipment as outlined in the provided standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety and sanitary standards.
• Sweeping and mopping kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitary standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, cutting blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it in designated containers. Steam clean or wash out garbage containers.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist in loading and unloading supplies and products.
