About The Position

Dishwashers at Westmoor Country Club have the very important role of maintaining cleanliness and sanitation for all dining and food preparation materials. Experience is preferred, and experience in a private club or resort setting is a plus; however, in-house training is available. Full-time (30 to 40 hours per week, on average), part-time (20 to 25 hours per week, on average), and seasonal (Memorial Day through Labor Day) positions are available with an opportunity for overtime and/or extra shifts during peak seasons.

Requirements

• Flexible work schedule; able to work varying shifts to include holidays, weekends, and evenings
• Willingness to work as part of a team
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Willing to perform other job-related duties as assigned
• Ability to work calmly, efficiently, and professionally in a sometimes busy and stressful restaurant-type setting
• Please, no phone calls or walk-ins.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality cleanliness and sanitary condition of all dining and food preparation materials
• Wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans, cutting boards, and any other dining and/or food preparation-related items via the dishwashing machine or by hand
• Stock all items and equipment as listed above
• Help the culinary team with light food preparation
• Assist with stocking, receiving product, organizing storage areas, and any other miscellaneous duties required to maintain the culinary areas
