About The Position

Keep all dishes, glassware, utensils, washing equipment, and work area clean, safe, and sanitary, and to support Kitchen staff by performing basic preparation and cleaning tasks. Duties & Responsibilities Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. Ensure that clean and sanitary dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and other utensils are available for use as promptly as possible with little to no breakage. Help maintain high levels of cleanliness while completing washing assignments. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors. Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. Support safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times. Performs other duties as assigned by manager. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Ability to manage priorities and workflow. Ability to perform the physical labor necessary. Must be able to work independently. Must provide valid document(s) to work in the US. Must meet legal age requirements for the position. Education High school diploma or equal to a GED. Language Skills Must speak and communicate in English. Must be able to clearly communicate with guests, management and coworkers. Work environment Ability to stand for most of your shift.Hotels operate 24/7 therefore schedules may at times fluctuate based on the needs of the business, so being flexible is key to this position. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, twist, or lifting as much as 30lbs. throughout your scheduled shift. Required education and experience Food Handlers card Knowledge of food safety rules and regulations.
