About The Position

PCSI is looking for Service Order Dispatcher after hours at FT. SILL, OK. A Service Order Dispatcher after hours receives, records, and distributes work orders to service crews upon customers’ requests for service on articles or utilities purchases from wholesale or retail establishment or utility companies. Records information, such as name, address, article to be repaired, or service to be rendered. This position reports to the Customer Service Representative and is based at FT. SILL, OK. Typical work hours will be 1230-2100 Monday thru Friday and must be willing to work other shifts to support operational requirements. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Two (2) years related experience with the ability to perform the assigned duties.
Must be able to effectively read, write, and speak the English language.
Must be able to operate a personal computer and must display skills in word processing, database and spreadsheets.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse and sometimes irate individuals and to handle calmly, and efficiently situations ranging from routine to emergency.
Must possess strong attention to detail.
Have the ability to deal with multiple responsibilities and to meet deadlines.
Must be able to perform basic accounting and mathematical computations with a good degree of accuracy.
Ability to monitor several audible communications devices, such as, telephone, fax and radio throughout the day while performing job tasks.
Ability to work as a team member.
Self-starter, able to work with minimal direction and supervision.

This is primarily a sedentary position which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing 20 pounds or less.
Must have the finger dexterity and hand/eye coordination necessary to operate office business machines (calculator, phone, fax, copier, etc.) and a personal computer.
Hearing and speech sufficient to verbally communicate in person and on the telephone.
Mobility to frequently alternate between sitting, standing, and moving about the facilities.
Ability to interpret policies, procedures and regulations.
Ability to communicate both orally and in written format.
Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and speak the English language.
Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.
Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
Possess valid driver’s license and maintain good driving record.
If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).

Responsibilities

Receives, records, and distributes work orders to service crews upon customers’ requests for service on articles or utilities purchases from wholesale or retail establishment or utility company.
Records information, such as name, address, article to be repaired, or service to be rendered.
Prepares work order and distributes to service crew.
Schedules service call and dispatches service crew.
Calls or writes customer to ensure satisfactory performance of service.
Keeps record of service calls and work orders.
May dispatch orders and relay messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments, using radio telephone equipment.
Greet visitors and take incoming phone calls, fax, and radio messages and promptly take care of requests or relay messages to the appropriate person.
Apply experience and judgment in selecting procedures to be followed and accurately interpret, select or code items to be entered from a variety of document sources.
May refer problems arising from erroneous items, codes or missing information to supervisor for clarification or resolution.
Performs related duties and responsibilities as required.
