GT Mid Atlantic, LLC., a leading construction equipment dealership in MD, DE, PA, and NJ, has an immediate opening for a SERVICE MANAGER. The Service Manager is responsible for: Supervision of 7+ shop and field service technicians with potential for growth Overseeing the maintenance & repair, housekeeping and security of the branch facility and equipment Training and safety programs for all branch employees Planning and monitoring of service department sales and expense activity Hiring and evaluation of all service department personnel at the branch The successful candidate will have: A good working knowledge of operations and mechanical functions Solid shop floor management knowledge Strong diagnostic skills Supervisory and management training in related fields Leadership skills in a specialized repair environment A solid understanding of pricing principles and discounting effects Working knowledge of shop layout Good communications skills with customers, co-workers and management We offer a competitive wage and benefits package, excellent working conditions and ongoing training opportunities.
