About The Position

Dimmick Group Peterbilt, a family-owned and operated dealership, is currently seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Service Manager at our Rochester, NY location. With over 400 employees across 10 locations in NY, VT, and NH, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to our customers.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Automotive Repair Experience desired
  • Heavy Automotive Experience Highly Preferred
  • Experience with CDK and Decisiv preferred.
  • Microsoft Proficiency
  • Diesel Repair Knowledge
  • Driven and collaborative.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with technicians, service office, and parts personnel to ensure timely completion of jobs.
  • Regularly communicate and report to the Service Director.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients.
  • Maintain Peterbilt’s Platinum Service Center status.
  • Keep customers informed about their truck’s status via phone and through the Decisiv platform, including any delays.
  • Efficiently dispatch work orders to technicians.
  • Review completed work orders, verify hours, and assess technician stories.
  • Workflow management through Decisiv.
