About The Position

The Branch Service Manager will lead, train and mentor service technicians by working as a supportive leader while leveraging all Crane 1’s support resources. This is a demanding, 'hands-on', position that requires a person with the ability to prioritize and complete service job activities in a safe and efficient manner. It is a fast-paced work environment that requires completing jobs on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • A minimum of (2) + years of proven experience or related Service Management experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in the service industry
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy
  • Problem solving ability to quickly assess issues and implement effective solutions

Responsibilities

  • Answers all service calls for breakdowns and service repairs.
  • Manages and gives direction for field resource allocation, manpower and scheduling.
  • Attends daily huddle with branch team to align on daily objectives to meet weekly/monthly goals.
  • Maintains strong relationships with current customers by providing exceptional customer service.
  • Train, support and mentor service technicians perform their daily job tasks.
  • Manages job execution and performance on all jobs completed at the branch.
  • Attends weekly production meetings with status of open jobs to complete.
  • Conducts site safety audits ensuring all safety procedures are being followed in the field.
  • Ensure all equipment safety inspections are completed every month/quarter.
