About The Position

Campers Inn RV is looking for a Service Manager . This role is responsible for supervising the service team, and coordinating activities of workers to ensure that all upkeep, inventory, and repair of grounds and buildings on the property is completed in an efficient manner. Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • License & Certifications: Valid driver s license and good driving record is preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in an automotive or RV service department is preferred
  • Abilities: Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Excellent communication and managerial skills
  • Ability to operate the department profitably within dealership guidelines
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations that affect the daily operations of the organization
  • Ability to use a computer and other office equipment
  • Ability to navigate occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts; high places; fumes or airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • Ability to withstand moderate noise levels in the work environment
  • Ability to bend or sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervises one or more employees in the service department
  • Responsible to maintain all autos, golf carts, tractors, and all other machinery owned by the company.
  • Responsible for the inventory, ordering and delivery of all necessary supplies and equipment for the service department
  • Assisting in the disciplinary or promotional recommendations required for all service personnel
  • Responsible for insuring OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies are complied with at all times.
  • Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
  • Responsible for courteous, efficient response at all times.
  • Responsible for thorough knowledge of management company policies
