Requirements

2+ years of management experience in a service or related environment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
Organized, dependable, and focused on results
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

Experience in construction, heavy equipment, or a similar industry preferred

Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of technicians and service staff to deliver high-quality work
Oversee daily service department operations, including scheduling, workflow, and job completion
Ensure excellent customer service through clear communication, accurate estimates, and follow-up
Minimize equipment downtime by aligning service work with customer needs and timelines
Prepare service quotes and follow up on open jobs, leads, and new business opportunities
Monitor sales, productivity, and profitability to meet department goals
Maintain proper inventory levels of shop supplies and ensure smooth daily operations
Collaborate with parts, sales, and other internal teams to keep work moving efficiently
Promote and enforce safety standards and company policies
Provide feedback on customer needs, product performance, and market trends
