What You’ll Do As our Service Manager, you’ll lead and grow a high-performing team while ensuring customers receive outstanding service. Your responsibilities will include: Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and coach service technicians and support staff. Conduct performance evaluations and support ongoing professional development. Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-energy team culture. Operations & Workflow Management Oversee day-to-day service department operations in both shop and field. Develop and implement processes that improve efficiency and repair quality. Monitor key performance metrics and drive continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with safety standards and dealership policies. Customer Experience Serve as the main point of contact for service customers. Maintain clear and proactive communication throughout the repair process. Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly. Ensure timely scheduling, quoting, and invoicing of work orders. Technical & Administrative Responsibilities Support technicians with diagnostics, repair recommendations, and parts needs. Manage warranty documentation and communicate with the Service Writer. Collaborate closely with sales and rental departments to support customers and internal teams. What We’re Looking For 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in equipment, automotive, heavy machinery, or related service operations. Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Solid technical aptitude with equipment diagnostics and repair. Experience with dealership or service management software. Excellent organization, multi-tasking, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in varied environments (office, shop, outdoors) as needed. Requirements

  • 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in equipment, automotive, heavy machinery, or related service operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Solid technical aptitude with equipment diagnostics and repair.
  • Experience with dealership or service management software.
  • Excellent organization, multi-tasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in varied environments (office, shop, outdoors) as needed.
