About The Position

We’re looking for a hands-on lawn care service leader who knows how to lead lawn technicians, manage daily production, and deliver consistent service quality in a fast-paced, seasonal environment. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in lawn care, pest control, landscaping, or another route-based service industry and is ready to step into (or continue growing in) a leadership position. What You’ll Do As the Technical Supervisor, you’ll lead the day-to-day operations of our service department with a strong focus on technician development, service quality, and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include: Interview, hire, lead, coach, and develop lawn care technicians through hands-on field leadership, ride-alongs, and ongoing training Oversee daily production routes, route efficiency, and workload distribution Ensure service quality, proper application techniques, calibration, and compliance with all product labels and regulations Handle and resolve escalated customer concerns related to service quality or technician performance Recruit, train, schedule, evaluate, and retain technicians Ensure all service vehicles, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and ready for daily operations Track and report on production metrics, service quality trends, and team performance Work closely with the General Manager to improve operational efficiency and support company growth This is an active leadership role that balances time in the field with planning, coaching, and operational oversight.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and hold technicians accountable
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven service environment
  • Organized, solution-oriented, and adaptable to changing weather and seasonal demands
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or similar tools)
  • 2–3 years of leadership experience in lawn care, landscaping, or a related service industry strongly preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Pesticide Applicator License (or willingness to obtain)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing crews, routes, or technicians in the field is highly valued
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent hands-on industry experience
