About The Position

The Service Line Marketing and Events Coordinator supports the Service Line Director – Marketing and Strategy in planning and executing multi-channel marketing initiatives across key service lines. This role coordinates key awareness month campaigns, community events and referring provider engagement activities (including CME dinners). The role also manages the administrative and on-site logistics for professional video and photo productions and drafts compelling promotional content for social media, email and web platforms. Additionally, the Service Line Marketing and Events Coordinator tracks campaign performance metrics and gathers post-event feedback used to identify opportunities to expand Capital Health.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field. An Associate's degree and additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • One year of relevant experience, including internships, in marketing, communications, event planning and/or customer-facing roles with project coordination responsibilities when accompanied by a Bachelor’s degree. Three years of relevant experience, including internships, in marketing, communications, event planning and/or customer-facing roles with project coordination responsibilities when accompanied by an Associate’s degree.
  • Foundational understanding of event logistics, including assisting with timelines, vendor coordination and day-of-execution tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster positive professional connections across both clinical and administrative departments.
  • Proven ability to utilize strong organizational skills to prioritize daily tasks, meet deadlines and maintain accurate records.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to professionally engage with practitioners, community members and internal leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications used for data management, presentations and communication.
  • Ability to remain professional, calm and display a positive attitude when adapting to change, particularly during live events.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the planning and execution of marketing initiatives across Cancer, Cardiac, Neuro and Maternal Infant service lines in partnership with the Service Line Director – Marketing Strategy
  • Coordinate logistics for video and photo shoots produced/edited by third-party vendors, including scheduling, on-site planning and ensuring required stakeholders and assets are prepared in advance
  • Assist with the development and/or coordination of promotional materials and communications including flyers, landing page copy, email drafts, social captions, event messaging and basic internal communications for key events/projects
  • Facilitate the planning, promotion, execution and post-event follow-up for disease site awareness month campaigns with strategic direction and support from the Service Line Director
  • Coordinate the logistics for community events, including but not limited to supplies, staffing needs, signage and run-of-show planning
  • Partner with internal stakeholders such as clinical teams, service line leaders, the Capital Health Foundation and community outreach to ensure alignment and strong participation across departments for awareness months and community events
  • Support growth and expansion of awareness month programming by recommending new event concepts and promotional approaches
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of CME dinner programs for referring physicians, including event logistics, registration, communications and on-site support, with support from the Capital Health Foundation
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal physician speakers and staff to support smooth execution
  • Coordinate with prospective and chosen venues on menus, AV needs, seating, and event flow – with support from the Capital Health Foundation
  • Support the Capital Health Foundation's efforts in developing agenda for key service line involvement in the Capital Health Continuing Education Conference
  • Collect and organize performance metrics for campaigns and events (e.g. attendance, leads, engagement, referral feedback where applicable) to help improve future programs and strengthen referral engagement
  • Collect photos, testimonials and event highlights for post-event communications and future promotions
  • Conduct simple post-event evaluations to identify successes, challenges and actionable recommendations for future improvements
